Trust & Safety

We take our responsibility very seriously. It's our job to offer you a fair and secure system.
Our goal is to provide a safe and trusted platform where people are honest and collaborate to bring creative projects to life. We do everything we can to prevent fraud on the platform so that we can keep you safe. This includes both automated and manual reviews of campaigns, and working closely with payment leaders to ensure your funds are processed securely and efficiently.
Please, before you get involved in a project check our advices in “rules section” and read our Privacy Policy and Terms & Conditions.

We prohibit projects that are illegal or potentially dangerous for people. Projects must be honest, clearly presented and must create something to share with others…

Creators must be transparent and responsive. Let people know all about who you are and what you want to accomplish. And do your best to answer contributors' questions quickly and thoroughly in the Chat box. Show them that you’re reliable, available, and committed to your project. Keep everyone informed of your progress through commenting in the Chat box.
Creators must be honest and ethical.  It’s tempting to "sell" your project with glossy pitches and big promises, but contributors can trust you much more when you're straightforward and honest. Give them a real look at your work, and be frank about the risks and challenges.
Creators must work only with trusted partners. If you’re collaborating with people, make sure that yours partners are trusted collaborators. If someone approaches you with offers to promote or market your project, remember that HappyChain does not endorse or have any affiliation with such services.

If you are a Contributor, explore the project page and do research. It should tell you everything you need to know, including details about the project and information.
Ask questions. If there's something you want to know about a project, ask the creator by the private Chat box. And if you come across anything suspicious, just let us know by mail at info@happychainapp.com. That feedback helps us make sure no one's trying to abuse the system.
Read what others say in the public Chat box and make report. If you're not sure about a project, you can look comments on the public Chat box. If something looks wrong to you, tell the community. We encourage our community to report suspicious activity and voice concerns via the Chat box and our mail info@happychainapp.com. Our Trust & Safety team monitors feedback and takes action if needed to protect our community.

Creators are responsible for their projects. When you back a project, you're trusting the creator to do a good job, so if you don't know him, do a little research first.
HappyChain doesn't evaluate a project's claims, resolve disputes, or offer refunds, contributors decide what's worth funding and what's not.

Remember some projects may fail. Even with a creator's best efforts, a project may not work out the way everyone hopes. Nothing it’s guarantee. Keep this in mind when you back a project.
